3.Manage most non-surgical etiologies of this problem.

TOPIC 2Polycystic Ovary Syndrome - Upon completion of this session, the participant should be able to:
1.Review current concepts in risk factors and pathophysiology.
2.Develop a simple laboratory screening process for diagnosis.
3.Apply our understanding of pathophysiology to design a treatment strategy.

TOPIC 3Hormonal Contraceptives: Good, Bad and Controversial - Upon completion of this session, the participant should be able to:
1.Describe clinical differences in oral contraceptives.
2.Decide the appropriate agent for specific patients.
3.Give attention to relative and absolute contraindications to oral contraceptives.

TOPIC 4Women’s Imaging - Upon completion of this session, the participant should be able to:
1.Determine which studies are most helpful in evaluating pelvic pain and pelvic masses.
2.Identify common ultrasound and CT manifestations of pelvic/gynecologic disease.
3.Determine appropriate imaging studies for patient’s who present with breast symptoms.
